Porty Pebbles - Step into Prep
Port Curtis Road State School and in conjunction with Play Matters (Playgroup Queensland) invite kindy age children to an exciting and engaging transition to school program for students starting Prep. The program aims to help future students develop confidence and skills they need to get off to a flying start at school through age appropriate activities targeting gross and fine motor skills, early literacy and numeracy skills and social skills in a fun and engaging environment.
Every Wednesday (Semester 2, School Calendar)
9.00am-11.00am - Program
11.00am-11.20am - Lunch with the rest of the school
Multi-purpose room.
Parents are required to stay onsite.
Prep Starter Pack
Future Prep Students who enrol at Port Curtis Road State School for 2023, and who attend a minimum of 8 weeks of Step into Prep between July and December, will be eligible for a Prep Starter pack:
- One PCR Uniform Shirt
- Back Pack
Pencil case- containing lead pencils, a glue stick, colours, scissors - Two display folders
- Two scrapbooks
- One homework folder.
