Port Curtis Road State School is a small country school with a multi-age setting which has a family atmosphere. Our high expectations promote the growth and development for students to achieve excellent values and morals, take responsibility for their actions and care for after one another. We are only 2 kilometres from the Yeppen roundabout and only 7 kilometres to the heart of Rockhampton.
We are committed to helping all of our students reach their full potential. PCR stands for Play the Game; Commitment; Respect and is integrated throughout our whole school Positive Behaviour Plan.
We are involved with many organizations to promote our Learning and Wellbeing programs including Kids Matter, Bravehearts and various sporting professional development clinics to give our students in as many opportunities as possible.
Swimming lessons are held for all students in Term One (Yr1-Yr6) and Term Four (Prep-Yr6).
Breakfast Club is operating every morning from 8:30am - 8:50am, with the support from Brumby's Bakery and P&C.
